(EDGE Driver-Mc) Zigbee switch MC, Zigbee switch power MC, Zigbee multi switch and child MC

(NEW RELEASE) Version 5 of the Edge Beta Driver: Zigbee Switch Mc

As this driver has many users I have put it in a new separate thread

Improvements:

At the request of @milandjurovic71 , one of his many good ideas, Add to devices a simulated meter of power and energy consumption.

  • Added Capability PowerMeter:
    • Displays the rated power entered in preferences, when device is On
    • The standard graph shows the consumption in each hour or day
  • Added Capability EnergyMeter:
    • Displays the energy consumption accumulated during the device’s operating time (On)
    • The Standard Graph shows the accumulated Energy meter by hour or days of the last month
  • Added Custom Capability to Reset Energy Meter Accumulated Value:
    • The switch always gets into On state (blue)
    • When device is first installed, it displays the installation date.
    • when you run a Energy reset it displays the current date as the last reset

  • Added in Preference the setting to enter the Rated Power in W of the load connected to the device:
    • Power range between 0 w and 4000 w
    • If 0 w is entered , the power calculation and power and Energy consumption function is disabled. The accumulated values are not deleted.

As the driver has a new Capabilities, profiles and changes in preferences the update will not be done automatically .

To facilitate the update, I am going to change driver version 4.0 to the name Zigbee Switch Mc- (OLD).

I will publish the new version 5 with the original name Zigbee Switch Mc

In this way, your driver installed will renamed with (OLD), indicating that there is a new version available and you can install the new version with a driver change whenever you want.

Using IFTTT, virtual switch and automation, Power consumption can be reset on specific date

23 posts were split to a new topic: What Devices does the SmartThings β€œEnergy” Service Work With? (2022)

Did you clear the cache? This has a new capability.
Don’t have the - (OLD) in your Hub?
Do you want me to publish it for you to try?

Good and bad news

Power and energy events can be captured in a google sheet with the smart app simple event logger.
With this you can perform calculations by device, periods, totals …

The bad news is that this app is groovy.

Hi @Mariano_Colmenarejo all good?

Can you please include these two sockets in the driver with consumption metering?

Has anyone tried this Device Handler with the _TZ3000_w0qqde0g TS011F plug?

A couple of links to sellers:

I found the ID in yet another item sold (a picture of the graph from ConBee), but now I can’t find the link to that one anymore.

I have also noted that this plug has a driver for ConBee since end of november. They added it with a bit of problem, some smaller bugs appeared with energy reporting.

Anyways, the form factor of this plug is exactly what I need and it must be ZigBee…

I will order a few and help out testing them, as long as I know that I get help integrating them…

Hi Mariano,

I have old (2015?) SmartThings Power Plug which I deleted from SmartThings to see if it has Edge driver available. It pairs with wrong driver (Aqara) and does not work, but I was able to get some information about it;

β€œEp#1 device_id:0x0100 profile_id:0x0104 model:β€˜3200-Sgb’ manufacturer:β€˜CentraLite’ Client clusters:[OTAUpgrade, ] Server clusters:[Basic, Identify, Groups, Scenes, OnOff, ElectricalMeasurement, Diagnostics, ]”

Can you please add to your driver and is the information above enough you to do that?

What can be done will be done, but nobody can guarantee anything.
Everything has its risk or buy products certified by smartthings

Added to this driver version of swit with power and energy
I don’t know if it will measure the power and consumption well. Smartthings have made changes in the libraries and I still don’t know what changes they are

Thank you Mariano,

the driver works with Centralite plug and looks that power reporting is working too.

Hello @Mariano_Colmenarejo
Today within my isolation (covid-yay) i ended up with wiring a ZIGBEE DIMMER MODULE MS-105Z from Moes. No luck with few options tried within Smartthings. Is it possible to add it to your EDGE drives or do i have to look for DTH ?

This does not work with my drivers, it does not have the cluster 0006 and 0008.
It uses the TUYA EF00 cluster.

Search the community for Moes cluster EF00 and you will surely find something
