I’m dropping in a (more or less) complete Step-By-Step here should anyone else like to Enable the Tamper Alert of their Schlage BE468/468 Lock in SmartThings Home Monitor Security.

| Install Philh30’s Lock Drivers: | Z-Wave Lock PH v1.00 |
| Change Your Schlage Lock Driver: | IF your Driver is already an Edge Driver, change it in Device/3-Dots/Driver/SelectDifferentDriver to Z-Wave Lock PH v1.00 |
| If it’s NOT an Edge Driver Already: | Remove your old Schlage Lock from your Z-Wave Network first; Then Add it again; Should grab Philh30’s Z-Wave Driver |
| Set Schlage Lock Alarm Mode to Tamper: | Edit the Schlage Lock Device in SmartThings. Change Alarm Mode to Tamper (adjust the Sensitivity to your liking). |
| NOTE THIS WILL ENABLE A LOUD AUDIBLE ALARM FROM WITHIN THE LOCK ITSELF. | |
| THE TAMPER ALERT WILL ONLY FIRE OFF WHEN THE DOOR IS LOCKED AND DOOR IS PUSHED OR LOCK IS TAMPERED | |
| IF Controls are Disabled: | Try swiping down in the Device Detail Screen a few times to refresh it. Controls should become enabled. |
| Create a Virtual Driver TAustin | Follow the Instructions there for the Channel Invitation |
| Install Virtual Devices V2 Driver: | Click the link; Available Drivers; Install Virtual Devices V2 |
| Create a Virtual Motion Sensor: | Press the Device Card vEdge Virtual Devices v2 (may be found in No Room Assigned; but may need search in All Devices |
| Quantity to Create: 1 (unless you’re doing more locks at the same time) | |
| Select & Create Virtual Device(s) | |
| Choose Motion Sensor (it creates the device) | |
| Note: Virtual Device Inventory, then the Type of Device, will show you how many Virtual Devices of that type you’ve created. | |
| Go to No Room Assigned, find the vEdge Motion Device you created above and select it. | |
| Edit the Name to your liking (ex: vEdge Foyer Tamper) | |
| Edit Settings: Auto Restore to Inactive; 10 seconds | |
| Create a Routine: | Press Routines at the bottom of the Device Card |
| Routine Name = Foyer Door - Tampered | |
| IF = Select your Schlage Lock. Under Main, select Tamper Alert: Tampered | |
| THEN = Select your vEdge Foyer Tamper Device Card. Select Turn On; Auto Turn Off = After 10 seconds | |
| SmartThings Home Monitor Settings Gear: | Security; Set Up Armed (away) Sensors: Use All Motion Sensors (OR Toggle OFF, then press Text to select Individual sensors) |
