Post Requests for Zwave Edge Drivers Here (community-created)

Can we have a driver for the Aeotec Door sensor 6?

I think it used to work with the stock “Z-wave sensor” driver, I paired to a new hub and it won’t pair with a driver, uses a stock DTH instead.

Please make an edge driver for Heatit Z-TMR3 thermostat? :relaxed:

None of the active DH for this device is working propperly. The RBoy DH was the closest but not working propperly anymore.

Thanks! :grinning:

ZOoz ZEN20 ver 3.0

Power strip with 5 switches.

I’d like a Driver for the NUKI lock (currently using @RBoy smartapp and DTH, works perfecty).

Is there an Edge driver for the Ecolink Firefighter that has smoke, CO and battery capabilities? The default ST Edge driver for it uses the soundSensor capability, just like the default Groovy DTH did. But in the Groovy IDE you were able to manually switch it to the z-wave smoke alarm DTH and it worked great with the proper smoke/co/battery capabilities. Unfortunately, you can’t do the same with Edge since the fingerprint has to be in the driver.

Do you know the fingerprint? Seems like someone could add it to the zwave smoke implementation in the driver code?

Hi @Automated_House

Here is the Edge driver Zwave sirena Mc, tested by @Terri_Baker and @Jason_Meudt

Im after an edge driver for a z-wave electric meter
Can anybody help on this one.

Home Energy Meter (2nd Edition) Model: DSB28-ZWEU (868.42MHz) Input: 230VAC, 50Hz, 10mA Aeon Labs

Hi,

I am currently migrating my Fibaro Walli Outlets FGWOF-011 from Hubitat to Smartthings. The device is recognized as a metering switch and the primary functions all work great, being switch, power meter and energy consumption. Unfortunately I am unable to set any of the advanced parameters of the Fibaro device. The available parameters are documented here: Walli Outlet - E/F | FIBARO Manuals I am actually only interested in changing parameter 11, as by default the LED ring is very bright and lights up the bedroom at night. Would it be possible to have a custom driver with this capability? Thank you in advance for having a look.

Hi @RobinScavok

I had forgotten that I was going to try to make a driver to configure the parameters of zwave devices. :man_facepalming:
Let’s see if tomorrow I get on today I have other things to do

UPDATE:
Driver published

Has anyone created an Edge driver for the Monoprice HKZW-DWS01 Door/Window Sensor?

Raw Description zw:S type:0701 mfr:0208 prod:0201 model:0008 ver:1.05 zwv:4.34 lib:03 cc:5E,86,72,71,59,85,80,84,73,70,7A,5A

I know this has been requested before but just wondering if any one would consider converting the Fully Kiosk Browser DTH in the linked post to Edge (if it’s even possible)?

I use an older Monoprice Z-wave contact sensor (#10795) tied in to my smoke detectors via a relay (via external contacts). I’d like this sensor to be reflected in Smartthings as a smoke detector.

I also use the same sensor as a water sensor to identify leaks. I’d like this sensor to be reflected in Smartthings as a leak detector.

Are either of these configured as of yet?

Thanks!

@damohabir

Just requested the same. Have you come up with anything yet? Thanks.

I know it’s a long way around the barn, exactly what you don’t want for emergency alerts, but @taustin does have a virtual smoke alarm and a virtual water sensor which can both be actuated (turned on or off) from a regular routine.

So you could have a regular routine where the trigger was your contact sensor and the action was “turning on“ the virtual device which serves as the alert trigger in smartthings home monitor or another automation.

The good news is all of this does run locally, unlike the old groovy custom versions.

So I don’t know if it’s of any interest or not, but it might be a workaround for the time being.

an edge driver for tuya local would be nice

The problem is that Tuya uses a lot of proprietary code, and they use different proprietary clusters for different models. So it all comes back to the model number. There are several edge drivers already for different tuya models. Which devices specifically were you looking for?

And have you tried checking the quick browse lists in the community-created wiki? That’s where you can find the existing edge Drivers for Tuya devices.

How about a Edge Driver for Ring Contact and Motion Sensors.

Hi @Mariano_Colmenarejo

Thank you very much for de device config driver. It works perfectly! Now I can finish my migration to Smartthings. Hero!
