Mine is still not working. I rebooted 2x. Anyone else still having an issue?
None of my switches are working, GE Z-waves after multiple reboots.
I just power cycled my hub and all the previously inoperable switches immediately resolved and are functioning as expected now.
Rebooted again, working
Rebooted & working!
My issue is resolved also
I have the same problem. Thereās a thread from Nov 2022 where this issue was also reported. At the time a driver fix was required. @nayelyz
Hi, @Donald_Parente, @Tommyrox
Have you rebooted your Hub to get the update faster?
I rebooted last night. I will try again.
I just want to say, āThank youā to everyone. It seems the issue has been resolved. It gave me piece of mind last night being here and hearing others comments. I think all of us reporting helped resolve the issue quickly.
Bill
Itās working. Thank you.
Get ready for this, the Zooz S2 and other products stopped working by design. Samsung or Zooz have no interest in fixing this. They donāt have any interest that they may disrupting thousands of systems. My siren was connected to my home security system for 3 years and now squat. I donāt know if they have exposure for putting safety at risk because it wonāt purposefully trigger the siren. Will write to Better Business Bureau and see what they can require them to do even if itās a replacement. This is the typical bush league crap
more details please. brand/model of the siren? what home security system? and does squat mean⦠it is connected and no longer works or it is not connected? brands/models of the devices not working?
Well, my ge switches and schlage door locks ALL show offline now, none responding to any routines, cannot control them in the app. . . have to actually GET OUT OF BED to turn the light on!!! I have done multiple reboots, zwave repairs, not a singe change, and it seems to be isolated to a single hub of mine so far, which REALLY confuses me.
I did email support with screenshots of the network status, repair, etc, so weāll see what they say.
Try the @philh30 lock driver, he added a lot of functionality to the Schlage locks and it seems they work better than the stock driver. He also has drivers that he created for the GE switches that have fixed a lot of other peopleās GE/Jasco issues
well, since we moved to the newer platform, Iāve not tried installing edge driversā¦I could do it under the old way, but doesnāt look like that option is there anymore, and I just havenāt learned how to do it now. I tried searching but got so many hits that I havenāt found a basic tutorial yet. Will keep looking. thx!
Edge drivers are fairly easy to install compared to the old Groovy DTH drivers. In every topic about the availability of an Edge driver, the author has a link to the invitation for the channel theyāve created to release their drivers. Click on the link, enroll in the channel, and then select the driver(s) you want installed to your hub. If you have custom DTH drivers installed on the IDE for your existing devices, you may need to delete those before you can have your device(s) find an Edge driver.
This is @philh30ās Edge lock driver. I suggest installing the beta version of this driver because it has additional features and bug fixes.
These are his GE devices drivers.
[ST Edge] Driver for GE/Jasco/Honeywell Z-Wave Switches, Dimmers, Fans, Outlets, and Plug-Ins
[ST Edge] Driver for GE/Jasco Z-Wave Motion Switches and Dimmers - 24770, 26931, 26932, 26933
Christy, also read this, JD explains it all.
Pay close attention to the warning about routines being deleted during the procees of removing and re pairing the devices.
I just found this thread today. Interesting reading and good to hear that the issue was resolved for many users.
For me, I lost Zwave and Zigbee connectivity on Feb 15 around 3am EST and it hasnāt returned for my ET-WV520 hub. Iām on FW 45.00011.
I initially found out about it because my ISP modem/router shut down. After reading this thread I suspect a flood of open connections or similar could have something to do with it.
At this point there seem to be fewer users affected, but according to @nayelyz , Iām not alone.
