How did you initially connect the Juno light to the hub ??
Yes … the light is recognized by the app and as you can see … there is a “processing” wait cursor that stays up forever
Does it connect them to your aeotec hub ???
Hi, @Michael.Liss
Can you share the firmware version used by your Hub, please? The latest version (46.10) contains a solution for the connection issue, if you’re not using that one, there might be a problem.
Ok, then your Hub hasn’t received the update yet, it started this Monday and should be finished today according to the announcement:
However, I suggest you check this page to see when it gets marked as “finished”
It just hangs until I close the app
@Michael.Liss Have you tried a factory reset on the hub?
Seriously do not do that unless you’re prepared to completely recreate everything including resetting every device you have connected to the hub!
It’s the only way I got mine to work
Unfortunate!
But I feel we always need to give a warning with that advice. You never know for sure that the person reading it will understand the implications of doing a factory reset on the hub.
Now some lights are “automatically” showing up and others will not
No - I have read it’s a Pain in the a - -
Just in case: flipping the lights on/off 5 times puts them in pairing mode so they’re discoverable by the hub.
Update - over the weekend -
I reset the LIGHTS several times ( 8 or 9 ) and then manually scanned the QR code for each light one by one
What I learned is that when I scanned a light manually- the next time I reset all the lights it would “automatically” add itself to the hub
The reason for the reset is the manual scan would freeze during the setup process and I would have to restart the app
When the app restarted- it would detect the lights that had been reset - but would not add them when I said “add”
The only way I got them to actually add to the hub was to scan the QR code
Hi everyone.
Just for clarification on this issue, last Friday the new Hub’s firmware version release (46.10) was completed. So, you shouldn’t have issues connecting the devices. I don’t know why the joining process caused trouble for some users but it’s not the first time I hear someone had to reset the Juno devices to make them pair again.
