I have the update AND have reset the Juno light ( several times ) and it still will not connect
Note : the light was owned by somebody else ( meaning they had it on their Samsung account ) and now they are gone, and I want to connect the light - but no bueno !
@Michael.Liss I don’t recognize the screenshot where you’re getting hung up. Out of curiosity, can you walk through the steps you take in the SmartThings app to get there? For reference, these images are what I see when adding devices.

I am at 46.10 with aeotech hub and still experiencing issues with Juno connect (13 devices) and commercial electric (17 devices). They fail to stay connected. Sometimes some will reconnect. When I try to reset and add I get the “processing” message that others have posted about. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Keith, Michael,
I’m finding that I couldn’t pair more than 26 devices when the Juno Connects are in the mix.
Specifically, I have enough that I tried to create a mesh of just Juno connects and 26 create a fine/stable mesh, but adding them gets harder and harder as I go up in count.
Going past 26 and the mesh doesn’t work, something goes offline, something breaks.
Did you get past this limit? Did using QR codes make a difference in the pairing?
I’ve reached out to Accuity (Juno) and they were looking into it, but no results yet.
Just looking for others that may have found a solution or experienced similar findings.

The firmware release prior to 46.10 helped issues considerably for maintaining device assignments for my Juno Connect and Commercial Electric lights when powering them on. I’m still experiencing problems where devices will appear offline. If I power cycle the light it will usually rejoin. I am experiencing occasional issues with on/off control. Interestingly I can usually change the dimming and the light will begin to respond to on/off again.
Same here. Sometimes they show offline, yet will still respond to commands for lighting groups (on/off and dim). Then every once in a while there’s one that falls off the “bus” and is dumb and takes some work to get it back online/part of a group.
Thanks. These hold so much promise. I want them to work.
I am up to 44 smart devices on my hub, I think 7 are Aeotec multi sensors (great device btw) and 4 enbrighten switches (another great device), the rest are Juno lights.
I seem to have better luck taking a picture of the QR code, (I store them in a word document in case I need to ‘add them back into the system at a later time’ ) and then cycle the device using the QR code during the connect routine…
I would say that 75% of the time I have success… the other 25% of the time I have to try multiple times to get the QR code to register the device.
Another thing I should add… I stopped using Android and iPhone in the same account. I exclusively use iPad now to control all devices… removing the Android seemed to solve A LOT of the issues I had
Hi Michael,
That’s good information. I also got feedback from Juno directly that there’s a known issue pairing these depending on how big your mesh is and how chatty the devices already on the mesh are. Feedback was that the Juno Connect adoption routine has some time-sensitive elements to it and that if they spent too much time waiting for other communications to clear on the mesh, the pairing would time out and not work.
So they suggested turning off most of the devices when adding new ones until they create a fix. That helped quite a bit and I got all 70 Juno connects on the mesh. I even was able to swap out to an edge driver and put these in Zigbee groups, and then bind them to Innovelli Blue 2-1 Zigbee dimmer switches and have direct control.
This latest firmware update on my Aeotec hub seems to have broken quite a bit though. My mesh is unstable. My switches sometimes reboot (never happened before this hub firmware update) and I’ve had random devices fall off again.
So I’m trying to work on getting that back to a stable place then finish building my setup out.
Ugggh, so frustrated with this latest firmware update on my hub.
Has anybody made any significant progress with these on a large scale installation?
Any hits or tricks?
I still have issues getting large numbers of these paired.
When they are paired, I regularly have a random unit hang and need to be depowered and repowered (rebooted).
Sometimes I have to factory reset and re-pair to get the lights back on the mesh, which is a royal pain when you can’t get a room with 10 to all re-pair.
4 Juno’s on a smart switch so they stay powered generally stay paired. But about once a month I have to manually power cycle because one or more goes off line.
3 that are used a few times a week generally pair when they are powered on and if not will pair with a 5 cycle power reset.
5 that I power on maybe once a week will no longer pair with a 5 cycle power reset and I have given up trying to delete and add back.
17 commercial electric zigbee cans (no longer sold) will usually connect when powered up now which is a definite improvement.
Changing my Wi-Fi 2.4 router to use only channel 14 definitely improved the consistency of the commercial electric devices. Of course this is getting harder to control with newer routers that auto select band and channel.
I am really struggling with the juno lights. I can see them in smart things now but it shows “disconnected”. every time i try to update firmware it says its not conencted but when i turn light on an off from smart things - it works….but it keeps showing not connected.
How do i reconnect them for firmware upgrade and i also want ti connect them through bluetooth so i can use them as speakers but cant see them come up in bluetooth list. please help!
