Looks like everything is back up and running for me.
Yes, same here!
Same issue here. No light automation yesterday since 7PM EST. Thanks to the user who posted status link. I didnāt know about that link.
So it sounds like some are still impacted at varying degreesā¦I havenāt gone thru every device/automation to confirm all is good but initially looked like everything was back late last night. This morning my Mode didnāt change at sunrise & dependencies relying on that change did not occur. So going to check more today & see what happens.

Still experiencing some flaky-ness, but only with linear zwave bulbs, and only 2 of 4. They were all non-responsive after the āfixā last night, then an hour later were back, and now this morning 2 of 4 are back to being off-line.
Edit - switch or voice triggers get them back online, as they did last night. Will it last?
It use to be much worse, sirens would trigger every other morning. But it has been a few years and we still have outages, this needs to improve.
However, I was still able to control my devices using the homebridge intergration during the outage: HomeKit Integration Video Tutorial (Unofficial Integration Using Homebridge)
The fun thing last night was when all the queued up events came rushing through. I had a series of phantom door chimes and dozens of notifications all bunched together. . . .
Since sunset didnāt run, I had to walk around my house and turn on three outdoor lights. Exhausting. It took me a while to remember how to flip a switch.
(Of course, Iām half joking. Itās a minor inconvenience, but still annoying. The only really problematic thing during an outage is turning on smart bulbs. I have a couple in lamps. You have to manually power them on and off a bunch of times before theyāll come on. In any case, I need to remember to have manual backups for all lights. )
@sgr215 I was curious, the events that were happening randomly last night (garage & vents you mentioned) , could those events have been delayed, but appear like random if timing way off? That would match a few of my devices (most were completely dead) last night before it seemingly came back to normal. Iām not an IT professional (but I play one on TV when I mess with my ST stuff!) but trying to wrap my brain around the garage opening by itself. My garage automations do not operate unless a virtual switch I have is on, sort of like the old vacation lock button on garage door openers. I have it set that I turn the switch on (via Alexa or app) to open the garage (if I am home) & respond to departure/arrivals of my cell. So in theory, if my switch is off, I would not expect any triggers to set off the garage, even if delayed by hours, etc?
I still have 5 out of 10 devices"unavailable" as of now via mobile app (android). Iāve tried to repair Z-wave many times, unplugged and/or reset hub. Still get this since coming home 8 pm last night. WTF?
Everything seems to be back up.
It kind of screwed us up this morning when our automations didnāt fire off. We had to press light switches and turn things on like a CAVE MAN! The horror!
Getting Alexa error message "Discovery could not be completed. All of your Alexa devices are offline. Currently all of my devices are online.
I forgot to add: If I turn Device Health option off, then everything shows normally in the My Home/Things list and I can turn on and off. With it on, there are still 3 āthingsā showing the red corner in the upper left and no option to turn on or off. What can I do to fix?
If you click to open the device in your app, youāll see an X in the top right. Click that X, then refresh your device. Within a couple minutes the Device Health should return to normal. If that doesnāt work, try turning them on/off after hitting the X. Lastly check the live logs to confirm you are getting information from your device.
Thank you, tried that on one of them and it says āDevice not considered failedā Iāll see what happens. What is causing the problems?
25m later, still says āunavailableā with Device Health on.
Seems to be OK in the Seattle area now. Kinda glad I have my lights on Hue and not directly on ST. Alexa could still control them, and my Tap switch still worked. (No panic calls from my wife when she was trying to go to bed.)
The system had a strange glitch though, the individual devices for a couple of doors said they were closed, but the āRight nowā tab listed them as open and it notified me that they were open when the system auto-armed when my wife went to bed. (also reported to ActionTiles that they were open.)
An incident report was sent out about 20 minutes ago stating that everything was back up, but I still have a number of switches and sensors that are offline. I unplugged the hub, removed the batteries and rebooted everything after about 5 minutes without power, but still have offline devices.
Agree with @JTK_Daddy, Iām still seeing super flakey behavior. Iām going to be patient for a bit, but it would be helpful if somebody from ST could explain what happened/is happening.
Looks like if I manually toggle the z-wave switches that are offline, they get refreshed as online in the Smartthings IDE.
