Update a device's deviceManufacturerCode via CLI?

I have a ZOOZ ZEN77 and i have added it 5 times now, each time with S2 security, but every time, it adds the switch, the Manufacturer code is 0000-0000-0000, so it won’t allow me to select the ZOOZ edge driver

Is there a way to manually update this, maybe using the CLI? How to i get the switch added so the correct Mfg Code is used?

Thanks,
Steve

Try pairing the device next to your hub.

Unfortunately, the ID of all zeros means that the pairing was not complete so there’s nothing you can do programmatically to update anything on the device, the hub and the device aren’t talking to each other yet.

See the community FAQ:

FAQ: Manufacturer/Model Shows All Zeroes

But mostly @ paul_oliver is right. You may need to move the hub closer to the device to complete the pairing. Speaking as a former field tech, I would do a general exclude on it first and reset it to factory specs before trying again. But that’s up to you. :man_shrugging:t2:

That did the trick @Paul_Oliver, thank you.

Weird how it will
Pair, but not completely, i probably need to research more that whole pairing protocol

I did follow your lead @JDRoberts, and exclude them factory reset before pairing again wil hub 2 ft away.

Any insight or links on zwave pairing protocol?
