I am having trouble logging in to the SmartThings Developer Center and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue or knows a solution.
Here are the details of my situation:
Issue: Cannot log in via both Samsung and Google accounts.
Observation: Logging in to the official Samsung website works perfectly fine, but it fails only on the Developer Center page.
Error: I have attached a screenshot of the error message that appears during the login attempt.
I have already tried clearing my browser cache and using a different browser, but the problem persists. Any advice or help from the community or the support team would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, @yeosu0107
Are you still having issues with the Developer Console? I was able to enter now, it might have been a temporary issue
Since your post was flagged as Spam, it’s been a while since you reported it and I approved it.
Unfortunately, I still can’t seem to log in. Since this is my very first time trying to access the SmartThings Console, could there be an issue with my account itself?
The login issue persists even in Incognito mode.
Currently, I am able to log in via SmartThings. Add a little smartness to your things. and am working through the CLI, but I will eventually need access to the console for long-term use.
Should I provide the network traffic logs to help with the investigation?
Could it be an issue with Google account being enabled. I have seen a couple of users post about being denied access to my.smartthings.com in the past. To fix, they would login to https://account.samsung.com, open their profile and disable Google account. they could then login to my.smartthings.com. after that they enabled Google account in their Samsung account and all was good. Just a thought but i could be totally off on this.
Anyway, the OP should wait on your thoughts before proceeding. I don’t want to cause any harm if I am wrong.
Hi,
Yes, could you please share the network traffic logs you mentioned? Additionally, it would be very helpful if you could include the exact timestamps (with your timezone) when the issue occurred.
