Can't connect to smarthing app with Google Pixel 8

When I first tried logging in the app, I had a message that my browser wasn’t supported so I tried some other browser as seen in some other topics and the logging in page finally worked on edge.

However, I do manage to log in the site but when I get redirected to the smartThings app it doesn’t do anything… I’m still have the log in option.

Would need some help thanks !

I did find another thread you can try… enable Developer mode, restart phone, disable Developer mode, restart

  • Launch the SmartThings app.
  • Tap the Menu tab on the bottom navigation bar.
  • Tap the Settings gear icon. The SmartThings settings menu will appear.
  • Long-press About SmartThings for 5 seconds. A developer mode toggle will appear in the settings menu.
  • Enable Developer Mode.
  • Restart the SmartThings app.

Apparently turning off the developer mode with edge as a default browser did the trick !
