Supporting new E1 Aqara devices

Seems that you are right. According to ST official edge github the following Aqara Fingerprints of window treatment are supported:

I have a Aqara window curtain motror that works fine with IDE DHT, This is the Fingerprint I’m getting from IDE:

Seems like identical, meaning the Aqara curtain motor is supported !!

yeah, it looks like they’re adding Edge drivers to the official repo for their devices that are Zigbee 3.0 certified.

For devices to be supported in the official SmartThings Edge drivers, their manufacturers, in this case, Aqara, must certify them as WWST (Works With SmartThings).
Therefore, it depends on Aqara to check if they’d like to pursue a partnership with SmartThings and include those devices.
I suggest you contact their Customer Support team to ask about this and mention your interest in the integration so they’re aware of the requirement.

If Aqara that can be found in Smartthings App , as @welshbryn mention and also attach screenshots.
Is that means that Aqara is part of the WWST certification ? Or at least the products that shown within the app are part of the WWST certification ?

yes, exactly. Aqara is also part of SmartThings’ private Matter Early Access testing program

I would need to confirm this with the team. Before, there was an option to integrate devices as “SmartThings Compatible (CST)” and they could appear in the app.
Have you seen fingerprints of Aqara devices that appeared in the DTH but not in the Edge driver?

As mentioned above in my attached images. I am using a custom DTH for Aqara Zigbee curtain Motor,
The Fingerprints in DTH and ST Edge Github ARE IDENTICAL These are very good news for me since, migration should work for sure.

Yes, if you see your device’s fingerprints in the driver, it will definitely be migrated.
In case you see a fingerprint missing in the corresponding Edge driver that is included in the DTH, you can let me know and I’ll check with the engineering team.

Aqara devices were never in the official smartthings Groovy DTHs.

They just submitted an edge driver for the smart plug and motion sensor too

So the blind is likely to work?

I see Aqara lists a “Curtain Controller” as compatible in the App.
But , unlike other devices, it does not list a model number.
Has anyone got the “aqara roller shade driver e1” working on edge in ST?

Here’s the two Aqara Curtain fingerprints that work with SmartThings official Edge Driver.

You can see if these exist on zigbee.blakadder.com to see which model they are.

Nice to see more aqara devices being added. but none are E1 devices right?

correct, no E1. Several T1 models.

I sent aqara an email a few weeks ago asking if an edge driver for smartthings is already being worked on, this was their response.

Our team is working on making the curtain driver E1 to support connecting the Smart thing hub, but it doesn’t support currently

wow awesome, i have a few e1 contact sensors which i bought accidently. i hope their portfolio expands

What is your curtain motor that works on smartthings? Can you post a picture of it?

I’m posting a YouTube movie I pictured with my Aqara curtain motor.
In the movie details you can find links for buying a motor and rail and more relevant links
