Wife made the mistake of purchasing an expensive oversold Samsung so-called smart tv with a HORRIBLE remote control. That said we have spent an inordinate amount of time with what should be a simple setup process and have run into this problem with SmartThings.
When attempting to connect to any of our SmartThings apps they all run into the same “07-005” error code. All are connecting to same wifi as TV, all have no wifi problem and connect to other Samsung devices in the home
The erro code was last posted back in 2022 or so on one thread where I see no solution ever given.

How to Fix Error 07-005
Users in the community have reported a few effective workarounds to bypass or resolve the error:
Use General Scan Instead of Direct Add: Remove the TV from your SmartThings app devices list if it is already partially listed. Instead of explicitly choosing “Add TV,” use the general Scan for devicesfunction in the app and enter the PIN code displayed directly on your TV screen. [1]
Rename the TV: Remove the TV from your account list, change the name/identifier of your Samsung TV in the television’s system settings menu, and then attempt the pairing process again. [1]
Check Firmware and Network: Ensure your TV has the latest available firmware update installed past the affected versions, restart both your Wi-Fi router and the TV, and verify that both devices are on the same local network. [1, 2]
