I have not used smartlighting in years now. Let me make an automation and check.
Edit. No they don’t show up.

That’s also new Andreas
Thank you for confirming mike
Yes it was (three dot menu and Edit name
from the mode selection screen). The ability to add or delete a mode would have been new and a whole lot more useful.
Oh ok then
Was it ?? My bad, where the #### was that option hidden?
Meh found it. Never looked for that before
Lol it is under home, manage locations, your location, location mode, 3 dots, edit modes.
Don’t think I have ever invoked a mode change !
Someone in the Facebook group is reporting this version kills the workaround for adding more than 200 devices.
I don’t have this update yet, if true it will be what forces me off the platform. At 180sommething physical devices my system started bitching about adding devices but the workaround made things bearable. If you can’t enter add devices - guess what - you can’t perform any maintenance (re-join a device?) Nope. Not acceptable.
@Brad_ST, @garrett.kranz, @blake.arnold, @jody.albritton - Guys - need an answer ASAP. Simple question… Is this intended? If so - you need a design change request but I probably won’t stick around for it. This is a PLATFORM level breaking change for me.
@fido Mike, watch this space for the answer to your question.
Noted Nathan
No update with me yet either
i’ve confirmed on my Fire tablet that this new version blocks the 200 device workaround of adding from the Devices tab. If the same thing happens on the iOS app i’m f@%ked.
Does the “All devices” option on the Devices tab still work for anybody? Mine is blank.
Yep - this is platform level breaking. If it’s not fixed - I’m out.
I was the one who reported this in the Facebook group. Since the latest app update (Version 1.7.69.23 on Android), the ability to add more than 200 devices is gone. Adding from device page has also stopped working. This change will force many users to leave the platform. I have close to 190 physical devices, worst part is that it counts the cloud devices from other services and virtual switches/sensors towards that 200 device limit. Please fix this if it is not intended.
Mine is working.
I suspect it is intended - dev keeps trying to enforce an already stated support metric. I’m OK with >200 being “unsupported use at your own risk.” The inability to perform platform maintenance is the issue that hoses me. It’s a “full-stop suddenly my plans have changed this weekend” level breaking change.
To be perfectly honest, the people at Samsung HQ in Korea won’t notice. The number of us on this forum/FB group/twitter are a drop in the bucket of all their users (# of users and app store ratings seem to be the only thing they care about). The number of us with over 200 devices is a molecule of water in that drop. Our only hope is that the people at SmartThings HQ in Minnesota hear us and are able to convince the people in Korea to remove the limit.
I wonder if my old tablet that can’t update to the new new app would still be able to use the workaround if the app determines the limit. I guess we’ll see. I have 282 devices, with very few virtual ones, and this change now has me rethinking any further investment in ST.
