SmartApps Smart lighting stopped working

How do we get and send app logs?

Sorry, @Paul_Oliver

I just added the instructions in the post above

Thank you,

Access was provided and the logs were e-mailed .

Hi, @Paul_Oliver

Thank you for the info, did you take note of the exact time when you did the test? This is just to confirm if those are included in the logs or not

No I didn’t, but I generated the logs as quickly as I could after changing screens.

Seeing this too for a good few months now. No existing routines but on trying to add one just a constant spinner - UK v2 hub, Android.

Hi, @TheHundredthIdiot

If you can send the same information I requested here, we would be very grateful:

Hi,

Mail sent this morning approx 10:37 bst, confirm email is the same and data access granted for a month :+1:

For me changing SL settings doesn’t work either. All previous configured SL connection still work, but no possibility to change anything. Dots (3 blue, one green) keep spinning forever. Area is Belgium/Europe and hub is V2.

Hi, @Paul_Oliver, @TheHundredthIdiot, @JackPe

The engineering team mentioned there was a release today that should have helped this case, can you confirm if you can open the SmartLighting app and edit/create routines, please?

Yes, Smart lighting seems to be working again.

Thanks for your help.

@nayelyz

All working as it should :+1:

Thanks for the fix

Can confirm, SmartLighting is working again. Thank you.

Sorry, I didn’t tag you as well, @ericreed5280.

Thank you all for the confirmation.

Many thanks! Sorry for late reply, but it works again for me too!

So glad! Thanks again!

I’m still having the issue. When trying to turn on smart lighting it gives me a “No network connection. There was a problem connecting. Try again later. If this problem continues contact us.” The hub shows it’s connected so don’t know why it says no network connection.

The app is quite possibly trying to connect to different servers to that your hub is using to connect with the backend so that could be a non sequitur. If you are on your home network try connecting with your data rather than Wi-Fi, just to rule out a temporary routing issue with your ISP. It sometimes does make a difference, though probably not if this is a long term issue for you.

I’ve been having the exact same issue for months. I’m based in Canada. Just wondering if you’ve been able to resolve it?
