Help: Smart Lighting App Issue with Error "Something went wrong. Please try to install the SmartApp again"

This afternoon, I started getting this error when trying to open the Smart Lighting App in the IOS SmartThings App.

"Something went wrong. Please try to install the SmartApp again"

I tried everything, restarting the app, phone, the hub even deleting the smart lighting app. But the error still pops up.

And the following error is from the live logging in IDE. Every time the smart lighting app error pops up, the following error also shows up in the live logging in IDE:

error - physicalgraph.api.StatusCodeException: Invalid http status code returned: 401 @line 1341 (scenesInputs)

Anyone had the same issue before?

I am seeing this issue. best advice would be to do nothing except to report the issue to ST support.

Thank you. I also sent an email to the support team.

Unfortunately, I have deleted all my smart lighting rulesets. No big deal, I’ll add them back once the smart app is up and working. They are more than 50 though. :sob:

I am having the same issue, I just tried to get to my Smart Apps model and had the same issue. I deleted and reinstalled the app, I restarted the ST base, and still not accessible?

On 2 different Locations – Smart Lighting automations do not run, and cannot Add or Edit. The error I’m getting is different than the OP “We’re having trouble connecting. Check your network connection and try again”

Everyone please report to SmartThings Support - as I am not seeing any notice on the ST Status Page

Are you also experiencing the same issue today?

I did all you did.

I am not alone. That makes me feel better now.

Yep, but I get a different message: “We’re having trouble connecting. Check your network connection and try again”

Looking in the IDE in Live Logging I see an error when trying to add/edit:

physicalgraph.api.StatusCodeException: Invalid http status code returned: 401 @line 1341 (scenesInputs)

Same error as mine.

Same error here as well. “We’re having trouble connecting. Check your network connection and try again”

A 401 http error is Unauthorized – must be something in the ST service rejecting credentials

Same here. I got desperate (trying to write some rules) and deleted all my scenes. It did not fix it and now I’ll have to recreate the scenes. It would be nice if SmartThings would update their status page in a timely fashion so we don’t f#&$ things up thinking it is a corruption in our code/hub. :rage:

Same issue here. Will report

You are not alone. :joy:

Yup, none of my smart lighting rules work and I can’t get into them. Same errors as above

Thank you!
