Schlage Locks

I just purchased a Aeotec Smart Hub and down load the Smart things app. I was attempting to link them both with my Schlage Connect Camelot model# BE46NX. Z-Wave. I had the lock working and even had it working off Alexia Dot. For some reason it quit working. I could not get it to work so I delete the lock and reinstalled it. The hub says it is connect. The Lock says it is connected. But the Smart thing app say it can not get lock status, and the lock will not work. ANY SUGGESTIONS FROM ANYONE?

FAQ: why would I need another beaming repeater if my zwave lock is already close to my hub?

This question comes up a lot. Suppose you have a Z wave lock, but the status doesn’t seem to update or commands don’t always seem to work. Typically someone in the community will recommend that you add another beaming repeater within 10 feet or so of the lock. So the question is why would you need that if the lock is already pretty close to the hub? The short answer is that the hub is busy, and it takes some load off of it if you have a separate beaming repeater near your lock. Either that or could be due to recent issues on the ST platform. I will let others offer better advice.
