Remove ZigBee device from Hub?

How do you remove a ZigBee device from a hub so that it can be added to another hub?

First remove the device using the mobile app. Then for many devices you also have to physically reset the device to factory settings following the user guide for that device.

For example on the Kwikset zigbee lock you have to tap a button nine times to factory reset it.

But the SmartThings multisensor doesn’t require an individual device reset after you do the removal, although you can also do one if you do have problems getting it to join another network.
