Bought this on a whim. Just got it today. Works with Smartthings. This is an open item and sold AS/IS so YMMV.
The unit I bought appears to function just fine. I was able to calibrate it using the RadBeacon App for iOS and it appears as a registered Beacon in the BeaconThings app for iOS.

i stay in las vegas, NV Energy provided free thermostat. it is wifi. they use app called mpowered. i am not sure if it can be integrated with smartthings.
