Osram Lighting

Hi all ! New to the forum. Can someone tell me if Osram requires a bridge to work with Smartthings? Thanks in advance.

No bridge is needed for the Osram Lightify bulbs, you can connect them directly to your SmartThings hub.

You will need a Osram bridge if you ever want to upgrade the firmware. OTA firmware updates are not supported yet w/ ST.

The latest on ST’s ability to apply firmware updates to Osram lights is discussed here:

The updated version SmartThings hub firmware is 16.00012. If you have that version then you got the OSRAM firmware updates.
