I have 40 osram lightify par 16 50 tw bulbs connected to a Hue bridge. The hue bridge is connected to the smartthings bridge.
Anyone who knows if these bulbs will update OTA automatic or manual through the ST bridge?
They won’t update through the Hue bridge. They need to be directly associated with the SmartThings hub (that has been setup to allow OTA firmware updates for bulbs) or a Lightify hub to receive the firmware.
Ok. Thank you. I was hoping I could avoid that. Connecting them directly the ST hub makes them turn on/off successively instead of all at once as they do when connected to the hue bridge. . Any suggestions to avoid that?
