Non-light devices classified as lights in Smartthings apl

I have ~20 devices, a mix of Zigbee/WiFi plugs and virtual switches, that do not control lights, but are classified as lights in the smartthings app.

This renders the “lights” category on the smartthings homepage useless. I don’t want to turn off these virtual switches or plugs when I tap that button to turn off lights, and it isn’t useful to tell me whether there are any lights on.

Is there a way to manually change how these devices are designated?

Click on the light icon > 3 dots upper right > select device > chose devices you want included.

Well don’t I feel silly.

That was a simple solution, thanks for the prompt reply.

Check it several times though. It took about 10 attempts… I would go through the list to select/deselect only to find they would not stick as selected. It may be an iOS thing or not!

Quite possibly as it seems to be since the last iOS update - haven’t seen anyone mention it in an Android context.
I find the only way to make it stick, and not go crazy, is not trying from the Favourites page but selecting and saving room by room.

Well look at that. Solved a problem I didn’t even know I had. Every day’s a school day. Thanks.
