If you purchased a used hub or the hub has been off-line since March 2025, then it could be the expired security certificate causing the issue. You can follow the guide in the following thread: Troubleshooting SmartThings Hub 2018 and Aeotec Hub
but only ST staff can help you confirm if that is actually the issue for you

- Confirm the email account registered in the forum is the same one you use for SmartThings. If not, please share it with me over DM.
- Enable support access to your account:
- Go to the SmartThings Web (my.smartthings.com)
- Log in to your Samsung Account
- Select Menu (⋮) and choose Settings
- Toggle on Account Data Access
- Select the time period and confirm - In this step, please select “Until turned off”, once the team finishes, we’ll let you know so you can disable it again.

It’s always a concern when a hubs is on 52.21 as that seems to be as far as the Samsung SmartThings Wifi/Hub has got to and you see an awful lot of those listed on eBay incorrectly as V3 hubs, and even worse quite a lot of those were from a Vodafone tie in.
As @jkp as mentioned there has been an issue with an expired security certificate with the V3 hubs which can affect old stocks of ‘new’ hubs or second hand hubs that have gone used for a long period.
@Itati should be able to see what is going on in your case.
