Hi @Brad_ST, I have also deleted the Hello Home and need help adding it back. Emailed support and they seem clueless and have “escalated” my ticket. Thanks in advance for your help!
You should be all set.
Yup everything’s working now. Thank you!!
@brad_st I have the same issue having deleted the solutions smartapp from one of the two locations. Is there any chance you can reinstate it? Thank you in advance.
@brad_st Sorry if not the right forum but having the same issue with one of my two locations. Would you be able to reinstate the solutions app(s)? Thanks!!
You have it back now.
THANKS Brad! All good…
@Brad_ST
I did unfortunately the same mistake. Can you please reinstall Hello Home to my account ?
Thanks in advance
Customer support beat me to it.
Hi @Brad_ST Any suggestions on how to get rid of “ghost” activations triggered by deleted/edited routines/automations?
Thanks
Hi Victor - Do you have a customer support ticket? Are you able to see the devices being sent “ghost” commands in the IDE? Do you know if the automations were created with the Classic app or the new app?
I didn’t open a ticket yet because I was trying to read through the forum first and see if I find a solution. If it helps I can open a ticket but basically here is what I’m facing: I’m quite new to home automation game and just in the past couple of months I’ve purchased the V3 hub along with some sensors and some smart light bulbs. As you can imagine I did quite a few tests to see how everything works so I’ve tested the automations in the new app in the classic app as well as in webcore. Right now I’m still left with 1 test bulb turning on at around 7 PM the tv turns on about 1 hr later and around 10 pm my time yet another hue light (hue play) turns on. The tv is connected to the harmony hub but as far as I can remember I never created any automation that will include the tv to turn on. I’ve checked all automations/rules/routines from harmony app, hue app, smartlife app, IFTTT, smartthings classic app, smartthings new app, webcore and alexa app. There is nothing in either app explaining the tv turning on. I did used one of the bulbs as a test bulb when I first set things up. Sorry for the long post and I hope you or anyone else can help me get rid of these ghost activations as they’re driving me crazy.
If you look at the devices in the IDE, you can see which groovy SmartApps they are in use by.
It seems like a webCoRE piston but that’s hard for me to say for certain.
I’m beginning to suspect an active webocre.
That particular bulb according to the IDE is being used by:
In Use By * [IFTTT]
- [WebCore / WebCore ] (webCoRE Storage)
- [Hello Home / Good Night! ] (Phrase)
- [WebCore / Cat Door Light Blink ] (webCoRE Piston)
The webcore piston [WebCore / Cat Door Light Blink ] is triggered via IFTTT by a wyze contact sensor when it opens and it’s supposed to blink the bulb 5 times at 1 second interval.
I’m starting to believe that this piston somehow does not execute the on/off cycles properly and sometimes it leaves the bulb on when the last action of the piston was supposed to be bulb off. I’ll edit the piston to only flash 3 times and increase the interval before on/of cycles to 2 seconds. Maybe that will do the trick. Thanks
Having same issue. I deleted all routines and now cant create any new.
Added it back for you with caveat that Routines are limited to the Classic app and switching to Scenes and automations is likely a better option.
Yup, already there! Pretty much moved over 100% now.
same mistake. Can you please reinstall Hello Home to my account ?
Thank you for your efforts…
Your Hello Home module wasn’t fully removed but due to a change in the newest version of the Classic app, if you don’t have any routines, you lose that tab. I removed and re-added Hello Home though so all should be well.
