Alec, I tried your suggestion out today and it works perfectly, with an added bonus that I can also control the virtual switch via “Alexa”. Thank you.

The icons displayed seem indeed being accessed by a https url. So if like me, you store your own icons on a github then they will show up. But the standard ones are not accessed/available at a https url.

Sorry, I meant to say, that some people lost the icons with the new version of the classic app, but some doesn’t lost any, disregarding that they are http or https.
(Most of the stock DHs has http for the refresh icon.)

Indeed, it seems to me things are still in a state of flux, I will continue to use Classic until the new app is much closer to being a finished product. Meanwhile I occasionally foray into the new app to see what’s going on but have no intention of making any transitions, whatever they may be, until it’s clear the time has finally arrived.

We, the users, are always ready to make changes for good. We wish Smartthings is ready too and not offer the half-baked dishes as final meal.

In the latest St app when I go to to a drone vice and see history it shows me the tim s in 24hour mode

Is there a way to change that?

This is happening with no vid or ocf info. However, I do hope the secrets of how to leverage these standard “tiles” is part of the new information that is supposed to be forthcoming. All the documenation says now is “JSON object”. Not helpful yet.

If I can understand how to get track data into this and figure out this Favorites goodie, many of my problems go away.

That and tell my why using the exact same version of my test DTH this second player looks like this.

Hi… I’ve moved most things from Classical App, how do I completely remove all users from Classic App?

Do I need to go anything special

Hi Vic - If you remove the users from the Classic app, they will lose access to your location in the new app as well. The only action for shared users would be updating from a SmartThings to a Samsung account if they do not already have a Samsung account.

I have merged to Samsung account along time ago and currently using both apps and it’s becoming annoying. So I just myself and other user from the classic app? Or is there something else that have to be done?

I’m unsure what you are asking. If you have not been prompted to switch apps, then you can likely solely use the Classic app for now.

The prompt you received previously would have been in regards to updating your SmartThings account to a Samsung account which is different from being prompted to switch apps.

Thanks your your and everyone else’s patience.

Two other updates for the community:

  • Rachio now has an official ST Schema integration which is available in the new app
  • Aeon Minimote ST-Approved DTH has been refactored and should be fully functional in the new app (if it’s not working properly for you, you may have to uninstall and reinstall the device)

We’ll continue to update everyone on the rest of the features/bugs that you’ve brought to our attention as we develop against them.

I have noticed following devices/smartapps based on custom DTH not working in new app while working flawlessly in Classic app:

  1. Kankun Wifi Outlet - showing offline. DTH: https://github.com/allen00se/SmartThingsPublic/tree/master/devicetypes/allen00se/kankun-wifi-outlet.src
  2. Lock Manager - lock being locked and unlocked but smartapp gives server/network error when clicked (to manage lock). Smartapp: https://github.com/ethayer/lock-manager
