Thanks for this! I wiped out 4 Walmarts in my area over the weekend. I didn’t even take the time to figure out where I could use them, I just bought them all. I also got the motion sensors (either $19 or $21) and a few light bulbs for $9. The motion sensors I scattered throughout the house, but the light bulbs I will probably return.

remember, better to have bought at a good price and return unused than to pay full price…

Seems to vary by location. Went to one Walmart and they had it on a clearance shelf. Second Walmart showed it in stock in Brickseek but the associate couldn’t find it. The third Walmart I hit up had them in their normal location but just marked down.

Does anyone know if the On/Off switch would work in a 2-Conductor wiring setup?

My house was built in 1947 and isn’t grounded.

Yeah, I found them in different places, too, but the employees could never locate them. If the store had an entire clearance aisle, that’s where they were. If it didn’t, they were in the electronics section.

Neutral is tied to ground so…technically, it should work. You will just become the ground if issh hits the fan. :open_mouth:

Down to $8 at my store.

On clearance table in electronics. Bought some for $19 yesterday. Got the rest today. Lol

Dang… nice catch. I guess I’ll be going back for the next few days and see what the Smart Switches drop to. I don’t need them, but for that price I’ll find a use for them.

Thats amazing. I am wondering if Brick Seek showed that price of 8.00? If you put zip code in does it show that price? Sure would make my hunting easier.
Thanks for the post.

I show one store in my area that has the switches for $9 (unfortunately out of stock), so they’ll definitely show a lower price.

I found one at local walmart, and I can’t get it to work. I am not sure what’s wrong with my switch. I may have to return it for my money back. It is one of the dimmer kind, and this is my first stab at using my hub and switches. Kind a sux. Was so looking forward to connect.

I bought two Samsung Camera from woot.com, and Samsung won’t even support its own product in their own hub, but it would support 3rd party.

I had it with Samsung just like drop support for their phone after a year.

Might need to be excluded first. If it was a store return for instance, might be paired to another hub.

Also you need to tap the up button to initiate pairing. May take more then one try and it took a few seconds for it to show in ST.

Just checked my store. No luck on the $8 blowout. :frowning:

Anyone else seeing $8 prices? If so what states/areas?

Everything’s still in the $19-21 range in the Houston area. What’s left, that is.

Just spent $150 on switches and dimmers.

what do you mean “doesn’t work”? I had some wiring issues that I had to think thru, once I got it figured out it was gravy. The only REAL issue was pairing. Flicking on and off slowly sent it into pairing mode and it was all good after that.

I visited a Walmart near where I would be traveling as Walmart.com indicated that the store had GE motion sensors in stock and available for $19. I found the sensors in the clearance area of the electronics section and they were marked down to $14.25. Great, I thought. I picked up the first box and it felt a little light. The tape on the box appeared to have been cut. So, with a sales associate standing next to me, I opened the box and found a random piece of white plastic. No sensor. The next box contained a usb plug but no sensor. The next four boxes were the same. The last box appeared to be properly sealed. I asked the associate to open that one based on the prior findings. The associate struggled to open the box to find just another usb plug and no sensor.
So, I ended up with no sensor and no faith in the Walmart clearance area.:frowning:
