Force Firmware Update

I can ask the engineering team about it but could @Itay_Gabriel provide the model of the TV, please? I couldn’t find a specific result using “Samsung VD Tizen TV”.

Also, it would be useful to know the device’s fingerprints, or brand and model to see if we can find it, it might not be supported by an official driver.

Can you provide the error seen when running this command, please? Is it something like this one?

Error: write EPROTO 140525772638144:error:1408F10B:SSL routines:ssl3_get_record:wrong version number:…/deps/openssl/openssl/ssl/record/ssl3_record.c:331:

If so, it is similar to another issue reported, so, I would use access to his account:

  1. Confirm the email account registered in the forum is the same one you use for SmartThings. If not, please share it with me over DM
  2. Enable support access to your account:
  1. Go to the SmartThings Web (my.smartthings.com)
  2. Log in to your Samsung Account
  3. Select Menu (⋮) and choose Settings
  4. Toggle on Account Data Access
  5. Select the time period and confirm - In this step, please select “Until turned off”, once the team finishes, we’ll let you know so you can disable it again.

I have the dongle for my fridge and it is at 46.8. You can install Edge drivers to the TV/fridge hub just like the other hubs.

The logging error is a known issue I reported previously and has been reported to the developers.

At some point my ST Station got updated to firmware 47.12 (without any notice).
