[Edge] Heatit Controls Official Edge Driver [v2.3.0]

Got feedback from our developer now that this is a debug print which wasn’t commented out before the release.
This failure isn’t something you need to look into.

Good to hear that part is solved.

RMA is a Return merchandise authorization, it is just a warranty claim.

@HeatitControlsAB : Hi, I have just installed a Z-water2 and several Z-temp2 devices on my Aeotec Smartthings Hub V3. I use Z-water to control several actuators, and all 9 channels on the Z-water2 is in use. I use rules that check State (Idle or Heating) on the z-temp2 to turn on/off the switches on the z-water2.

Everything works fine for about 2 days. After that the z-water2 becomes unresponsive. The rules fail to turn on/off the switches, and manually turning on/off the switches in the smartthings app gives a “A network or server error occurred. Try again later.” error.

Power toggling the z-water2 doesn’t fix the problems. Only way I found to fix this issue is to exclude and include the z-water2 again. The system then works for a while before same issue occur again.

The hub is located just beside the z-water2, about 0,5 meter apart.

Any idea what can cause this?

still having error

@HeatitControlsAB

Any news on the ETA for a Z-TRM6 driver?

Please, any comments?

Hi,

The TRM6 is still only available in the Beta Channel.

Thank you very much. Then I might in good faith purchase some of those.

Good afternoon to you. When do you think we can expect the move from beta to production to happen?

Very well; I see that the beta driver for TRM-6 is just recently updated, Oct 3rd. Is there any list of improvements to be seen anywhere?

This issue is seemingly fixed, but I still can’t load the thermostat set point in Home Assistant. Anyone else had better luck?

Which smartthings driver are you using and which thermometer model do you have?

For me it is working in HA 2024.10.01 with the smartthings integration, I have ztrm3, and the driver from heatit “Heatit Z-Wave Thermostat 1.2”

the thermostat set point is in the attribute temperature

I’m about the get some Z-Temp3, are these supported? If not, any plans in the near future?

Yes, they are working just fine using the drivers provided by @HeatitControlsAB

Were these solutions ever implemented? Still a problem for me with sensors displaying 0

My 2 ztrm6 thermostats and zwater getting installed today! I’m expecting everything to work but disappointing that the ztrm6 are not supported and i have to use the beta channel.

Please report back how the Trm-6 works @jeremycook61?

(At least it doesn’t work properly using the power reg-mode: It is not possible to adjust the power level, neither from the app nor the device itself. Stuck at 2, i.e. 20%. I hope @HeatitControlsAB will look into it one of these days)

@HeatitControlsAB The link to the drivers gives a ‘Forbidden’ error. I saw this was reported in Dec 2023 by @Bjorn_BearAlexNor and there was a link that this was a general problem. Is there any updated link for the drivers now? It seems this one hasn’t been fixed and I’d love to connect the Z-TRM3s from our newly acquired house to my hub as actual thermostats and not energy monitors…

This should have been solved from SmartThings’ side.
Not entirely sure if there are any permissions you might be missing to install it on your gateway?

Alright, nevermind, I actually found the same issue myself.
I’ll update it asap and let you know
