[Edge] Heatit Controls Official Edge Driver [v2.3.0]

@HeatitControlsAB
Is the ZM Thermostat Z-Wave Thermostat 16A 868,4 MHz also supported? If not, are there any plans to include it?

It is not currently supported, but we do have it in our pipeline.

@HeatitControlsAB

Please observe that my Heatit Dimmer-Switches, Z-Dim, have started to malfunction:

1 No 1 is stuck in the ON position, but is in fact always OFF

2 No 2 can be switched ON and OFF and can be dimmed, but doesn’t report power or energy any more

Edit:
3 No 3: As No 2, but the device detail view does not contain any fields at all for power or energy

Hub fw still 50.1.
Driver version, see pic

Hello. I just bought a thermostat and relay, but I just keep getting a error code when I am trying to enroll my hub.

Please advise, I would appreciate it.

Thank you :+1:

I have a really weird problem. I am migrating from fibaro home center 3 to Samsung. I have a bunch of heatit z-temp2 devices. I have the official edge drivers installed.

I unpaired without any issues. Then when I pair with aeotec hub 3, it doesnt pair correctly. This is what I see

What am I missing? the ones that work, and don’t work have different firmware versions. 1.0 vs 1.1

Any news on this? A 4th dimmerswitch has now started to malfunction.

@HeatitControlsAB

Hi,

Any progress on the support for Z-Trm6?

Or the switches, @HeatitControlsAB?

Hi, sorry for the late reply, has been quite busy here during the end of year period.
Which model of Dimmers do you have? Is it the Z-Dim or Z-Dim2?

Hi,

We have not finished yet, but I will ask for it to be released to the Beta channel so you can start using your thermostats.
I’ll let you know once it’s been posted.

Happy new year!

I believe they are of the Z-Dim kind. Anyway:
Model: 0003-2200
Mfg: 019B-0003-2200.

It has been added to the Beta channel now.
The description is incorrect temporarily, but using Thermostat 1.3b will add TRM6 for you.

Happy new year to you too!

Could you try to turn off and then back on again the fuse to any of the faulty dimmers and see if this changes anything?

Yes, it has been tried/done earlier to no avail.

However, switching and dimming by app and wheels started to work again lately.

But still no power or energy measurements can be found in the app log or the Advanced log.

(Fyi: Fibaro and Namron dimmers has been working all along)

the new driver fails with

Could it be that when the dimmer is at its lowest value, the light is off, and when you then try and turn it on or off you see nothing because it is at its lowest level?
If this can’t be it, you could try to factory reset the device and add them again. If they start acting up again, you could RMA the devices.

The original Z-Dim doesn’t support active powermetering

I’m checking with the developer, as far as I know, we’ve not touched the TRM2fx integration in this latest update.

Thank you.

Your answer inspired me to change the dimming level from 99% to 82, i. e. to between the current interval settings of 25 - 85, and to change the load value from 0 to 60. (60 being a random number as I currently do not have access to the true load value).

Voila!

The power consumption started reporting 44, pretty close to 82*60 I would say.

Thus this part of the problem is currently solved.

I would ask you to consider to provide a standard value of power at e.g 10 as part of the driver initialization.

Btw @HeatitControlsAB : What does “RMA” imply?
