@Aburd Mine looked that way too last night when I did the update. This morning I had control of my devices. Maybe force close and clear your cache?

I also like the latest version of the app. I also noticed that I’m now able to unlock my doors based on presence or other actions in both Automations and Scenes! This finally got me to delete Classic. Two more features away from perfect @Brad_ST. All I need is a dashboard to see who’s at home and who’s not and an exclusion rule in the Automations (if this, then that, except when)

Can I ask how you setup an automation for unlock doors? I used it in classic and am now using the new app but im not sure how I would set it up for me & my wife.

Anyone else seeing this
It’s happening on 2 of my 4 minimotes. All of them have been included using the new app so they are all using the new DTH.
Use the automation creator (+ menu > automation). Then choose member location for the IF side and control devices on the THEN side.
So I take it that the latest update is a success so far?
There are plenty improvements. The UX plugins have been changed for the devices with vids. But it is still the old pluggin for devices with generic capabilities.
So bugs have been fixed, and does things right now regarding the UX.
History has been moved for the new UX into a separate tab, and that works well with filtering events, etc. (But only supports the generic events of the capabilities, not the custom defined ones.)
Generally a lot of changes and improvements. Works well so far.
Loading devices might take a bit long, but I am using it now with a quite slow and overcrowded connection.
UPDATE: Icons are greyed out when a device is off or no motion or closed, or hasn’t updated for a while…

Just noticed that with the DTH for the Xiaomi sensor I get the new ux, but if I change to the Xiaomi aqara DTH I get the old ux, it is like that for door sensors and motion and temperature. It’s strange, should be the same new ux with both DTH.
I’d like to point some of my thoughts out.
Apart from dark mode inconsistencies noted by @oldcomputerwiz, UI improvements are a great progress to informativeness and intuitiveness, most changes are welcomed, but there are a few annoying bug/incomplete developments in this update:
- Inconsistencies between devices control interfaces
Most official switches, buttons, sensors, lights DTHs are updated with “add on” UI (don’t get why we need to download the “add on” to get a new DTH UI though). Others are not updated yet: one of my custom DTHs and my official cloud thermostat DTH (sensi) are still using old UIs.
- Some quick controls have toggle to turn on/off, while others don’t
- New UI history could mess up if you do a pull down refresh
- Webcore sent messages are marked as null in messages titles, it was {location name} (in my case “Home”) before
Lastly, one positive feedback, finally we get mobile presence sensor name properly displayed in history, yay! Would be nice if we can have a dedicated UI to see statuses and history like in classic app:

One more thing, can we get the better looking toggle icon back??? New ones are like decades old design…
@pauly, can you set your thermostat to 21.5 Celsius in that UI?
What are you trying to check? I changed to 16 Celsius, UI didn’t change.
Can you set .5 values any way in the new App?
Is the 17,5 working? , not . I have my phone set to different language and I just want to confirm is it for everyone or just foreign languages.
It looks like that someone hasn’t thought about .5 Celsius as an option, but only round values of Fahrenheit.
Half Celsius steps is a basic feature of every Thermostat since any digital came out.
The new UI let me set my ecobee by 0.5 degree F, but then it rounded it.
I have tried with the new UX plugin too with Celsius.
It doesn’t matter if I put , or . It is not allowing me to put any other value after that. If I use the + or -, it changes the set point by 1 Celsius.
