Android app update 8 February 2020 - v1.7.43-22

I’d like to point some of my thoughts out.

Apart from dark mode inconsistencies noted by @oldcomputerwiz, UI improvements are a great progress to informativeness and intuitiveness, most changes are welcomed, but there are a few annoying bug/incomplete developments in this update:

  1. Inconsistencies between devices control interfaces

Most official switches, buttons, sensors, lights DTHs are updated with “add on” UI (don’t get why we need to download the “add on” to get a new DTH UI though). Others are not updated yet: one of my custom DTHs and my official cloud thermostat DTH (sensi) are still using old UIs.

  1. Some quick controls have toggle to turn on/off, while others don’t

  1. New UI history could mess up if you do a pull down refresh

  1. Webcore sent messages are marked as null in messages titles, it was {location name} (in my case “Home”) before

Lastly, one positive feedback, finally we get mobile presence sensor name properly displayed in history, yay! Would be nice if we can have a dedicated UI to see statuses and history like in classic app:
