Zwave repair not working

I’m trying to do a zwave repair and when I do it via the app nothing happens (no starting/errors/done) and when I do it through the web it just says failure 4 times and then done.

Anyone seen this before?

Not sure if this will help but try rebooting the ST hub.

Yeah powered it off a couple times

try to look under “List Events” under HUB section and not on a “zwave repair” log. Just open it in another tab and refresh every 20-30 seconds

The failures are normal ones which I used to see before as it ran (sensors that only extend if plugged in and not on battery, old ones I don’t want to delete just yet, etc). Not sure why not seeing them now and have to view it this way but looks like it still working in the background.

No failures are “normal”. Every one of them if not resolved, would result in unstable Z-Wave mesh, likely experiencing slow response times and/or unresponsive devices.

Interesting. I had a switch that I unplugged since I changed the mechanism of shutting the garage door and another sensor that is only a repeater when plugged in and not on battery. I’m not going to ever plug it in again so figured that would not be an issue.

Well this is super helpful. I had a Christmas tree device that I unplugged. I didn’t think having a missing device could throw off the mesh. Now I will think about making sure only working / plugged in devices are on my network. Thanks so much!
