Sigh, an eternal wait. And as for getting Nest Protects to work as triggers in SmartThings routines? I no longer have any realistic hope of that. Very poor.

I too have given up hope on being able to use my Protects in ST’s routines. I did add an Ecolink Firefighter Listening device to my environment and I can confirm that it works with ST’s and will trigger if it hears an alarm from the Protect. Now I can use (via proxy) the Protects with ST’s and setup routines for smoke and carbon monoxide events.
