Will Aeon Labs Z-Stick pair as secondary controller to ST for vehicle zwave presence

When I bought the ST hub, I assumed it would easily interface with computer-based HA software. When I started looking around, I discovered this wasn’t the case. I’m on a Mac and would love to run software on the Mac that would allow me to control my ecosystem. Although I’m very techy, I’m not a coder and I’m new to all this, but thus far I haven’t found any Mac-based HA software that will easily interface with ST.

Indigo states that it interfaces easily with the Z-Stick, so I’m thinking of grabbing one of those. Will I be able to use it AND my ST hub? Or is it an either/or proposition?

I would like to know before purchasing a z-stick if it will pair as a secondary controller to ST. My thought is that if it does pair, if it can be powered via extra phone charger usb in vehicle to somehow use it as a z wave presence device. My house is mostly zwave, I’m not against zigbee, but i don’t want some mangled zigbee presence sensor that I have to alter to get a hardwired usb power to.

Let me know your thoughts. Certainly most interested in If zstick will pair, and If you think that this is doable.
