When did this happen? (Hub icon)

I just noticed the hub icon is now in color and not all greyed out. Of all the things to fix.

I have no idea, but it could be part of getting ready for Matter. Once that’s released you will be able to add multiple hubs from different brands into the app, assuming everything arrives as promised. So they may be sprucing up the tile a little bit.

It wasn’t active few days ago when I checked.

Matter should/could/would be released this fall. :crossed_fingers:

Also smoke alarm is fixed now, it no longer shows active state.

@nayelyz Btw they fixed hub icon, but broke connected device list. It doesn’t scroll down anymore on Android

Im on Android and it scrolls down ok for me !

I am using Android 11 and I still have the connected device list. The list has gotten very short because it only shows Groovy devices.

Android only? Still just a grey icon for me on iOS.

My hue hub also shows the same color icon as the Smartthings hub, so it could be related to matter!

I guess iOS caught up. Mine have changed now.

In my case it appears to be a random subset of my Hue lights. When I looked earlier today the list was about 10 devices but has now grown to 18 (still all Hue devices). I have no idea what’s going on.

UPDATE: And now it looks like everything has populated. SMH.

I agree with the sentiment, but it’s probably a separate team handling the visuals. There are a lot of little nice touches with icons and animations.

Of course, I’d rather the focus be put on functionality first though.
