I don’t understand but it makes no sense why these wemo switches their status doesn’t update in the ST app and I can’t turn them on and off. It’s starting to really irritate me and I’m about to throw them in the trash cause they’re absolutely junk.
My Wemo switches just started doing the same thing. Did you find a fix for this?
My automation works to turn them on and off, but they do not report status back to ST, and I cannot manually switch them from ST.
created a piston in webcore that refreshes there status about every hour
Might want to read down this thread. I tossed a bucket of WeMo switches out as they gave me nothing but endless problems. Finally there was a firmware change that broke any realtime event reporting and they only work by polling for status.
