Several reports of installing smart apps today and getting really strange error messages even for well-established apps from the marketplace section. Is something going on?
I am am trying to get a Enerwave ZWN-SC7 working with a Smarthub.
I have followed Enerwave instructions and as far as I can tell the Button device has been recognized by the SmartThings App (on Android). That is: it appears on the list of devices as “ZWN-SC7 Button Controller” at my one “location” and in the one “room” I am setting up. I can tap on the device and I get a screen with a logo and and “on” and “off” buttons, which respond to a tap, (though don’t appear to do anything).
I have installed both the Smart App from Matt Frank, which is on the Enerwave site, and the Eric M App which is published on this community web site.
Both appear under My Apps, but when I open the App, I get an error message “You can’t currently add this”. This occurs with both Apps.

This is great and should work, but when trying to use the Switch Activated Home Phrase and/or hg is Alexa app I get this error:
“Sorry there was an unexpected error” before the app even loads.
Tried adding the code in IDE and making smart app that way with same result…

I tried to make a small improvement to my smartapp so that you could actually view the status of the inputs that had been selected. @krlaframboise helped me use the correct syntax and the mobile app is working great in terms of it displaying the values of the display selected. YEA! But this new code (see below) is causing a new issue. It seems the new code may not be the issue but a parameter on a whole different page? Let me explain:
The problem is after after making my required inputs when I tap Done to save everything I should be getting the green confirmation “Evap Cooler Thermostat is now installed and automating” but for some reason I get a red error “An unexpected error occurred” .

Anyone having this issue please submit a support ticket and we can look into it.
