I noticed that when I set up the Smartthings Plug (https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-SMARTPLUG-GP-WOU019BBAWU-Outlet-SmartThings/dp/B07PY4YPTF/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=smartthings+plug&qid=1577438156&sr=8-4) on the Smartthings app, it asks me to select a Wifi network. I found it a bit peculiar, as I thought it would just connect to the same network as my Smartthings hub. Anyways, after connecting, I found that there was no way to update the Wifi for the device. I see there is an “Update Wi-Fi Information” option on the settings page, but I thought it only updates my Smartthings hub Wifi. So my question is if there is any way to update the Wifi settings on the Smartthings Plug?
I had to reset the WiFi plug by holding down the button for 5 seconds and set it up again. I believe my automations had to be updated with the “new” plug as well, but can’t remember for sure.
