Unable to conmect wiz devices to smartthings (Oct 2024)

Before today, my smartthings was working fine. However once I attempted to connect a new bulb to smartthings via wiz, and error shows up it is unable to connect it. So i try everything from Reinstalling Wiz to deactivating and reactivating my Smartthings app to no avail. I would like to use smarthings to control my devices due to its convenience. So I would like to fix this problem as quickly as possible

The photo attached is there error that shows up when i try to link wiz to smartthings. The same message shows up even after reactivating Smartthings.

two suggestions:

  1. change the default browser on your mobile device and try to connect (but honestly doubt it will resolve this issue). You can change the default browser back to what you were using.
  2. contact ST support and report the issue. Tap on Menu in the app and select Contact us.

The first suggestion worked for me! I switched the default browser to Samsung Internet and ot worked flawlessly as it should.
