Unable to Add Matter Smart Plug. Get Error Code: 39-501

I moved the physical location of two of my Matter Smart Plugs and SmartThings couldn’t recognize them. I deleted them, but when I tried to add them back, I keep getting an 39-501 Error Code. And it tells me to try again. I have tried doing this almost FIFTY times. I’m at my wits end. The other plugs I have (that I did not physically move) are working fine. I need a solution NOW.

There are a number of names on the plug. Eightree, Aeotec, Zigbee. I got them so long ago, that I can’t remember where I got them. Amazon, maybe? BTW, I though the “NOW” thing was funny! I appreciate your sense of humor.

Find out how to factory reset them and do that right before you try to pair them.
