I just added an Ultra Pro Z-wave switch and it defaulted to the Generic Z-wave device type. Any idea why it didn’t add using an Edge driver?
Either you don’t have the right Edge Driver installed, the fingerprint is not in the Edge Driver and/ or you have a custom DTH that contains the fingerprint.
Send the fingerprint to @philh30 so he can add it to his driver, and use his driver.
Just figured it out. I was adding it by brand name. I excluded the device and then did a nearby scan which worked and used Phil’s driver.
Can you provide a link to this driver channel? Thanks in advance.
Thank you Paul! ![]()
Hi there i am quite the novice as I just started using any zwave product in about 4 months ago. I am using an Aeotec smart home hub and I have primarily used the zooz 800 series zen77 dimmers. I recently jave tried the the UltraPro ZWA3016 ULT for the not so important switches as they a good price but I have had issues with thwir inclusion. I have also downloaded the drivers from philh30 which i appreciate as it seems there is lack of support for these dimmers. My issue is that even though i am enrolled into channel and have downloaded the drivers and they show up in my hub they will not show up when I try to change the driver for the dimmers themselves. Im sure its a simple issue but any help/advice would be appreciated.
Likely there is no fingerprint match for that particular device. Please login to the ST Advanced Web App and provide us the Manufacturer Code and Model information here.
Please let me know if I need to give any more information. The whole fingerprints thing is new to me.
Need the full 12 digit Mfg Code.

Yeah, that one isn’t in the driver. @csstup can you add it to your consolidated driver?
Thank you for your response. Everyone here dors seem truly helpful.
If Corey doesn’t get to it by tomorrow, I’ll make a test version for you to try and if it works, I’ll do a PR against his repo for him to commit. He’s taken over the GE/Jasco and Z-Wave sensor support since Phil has moved on. He combined all the GE/Jasco specific driver code into a consolidated zwave-switch driver.
Thank you. No worries on rhe time. I jist hate that it os lacking any extra because its on the generic driver. It works bit i have grown fond of a few more options
I can get to it tomorrow or Thursday.
Speaking of Ultra Pro switches, I think that 0063-4952-3334 might also need to be added.
Yes, that Ultra Pro switch fingerprint is not currently in the driver. @csstup Can you add it when you add the Ultra Pro dimmer please?
I swear i’ve looked this one up before. 0063-4944-3433 is already in Zwave Switch CS.

My bad. I think my repo is out of sync ![]()
I think so. I found it on the Z-Wave Alliance site.
