Tuya door sensor driver

Sorry if I repeat any question here but I haven’t found this device in a search.

I’m fairly new to ST and I’m transferring all my Zigbee devices from an Eero hub to a V3 hub. As this is a really great active community site I’ve found Edge drivers for virtually everything, except for these Tuya door/window sensors that I have.

They just pair as a Zigbee Thing with this information and I don’t know if it’s not possible or I’m missing something. Thanks for anyone’s help.

Hi @Johnnybegoode

Thanks Mariano - that’s amazing! Can’t wait for the driver update (every 12 hours I saw somewhere) to try it out, finish my device transfer and set up my routines.
Happy Christmas - Felices Fiestas!

If you can’t wait for the automatic update, you can either install it manually with the CLI or uninstall old driver versión from the hub and reinstall it from the channel, which is already updated.

To delete the driver you have to uninstall all the devices that are paired to the driver or change them to the Zigbee Thing Mc driver until you install the new version

Merry Christmas

@Johnnybegoode Did the driver work for tuya contact sensor?

I have 6 of them, bought at different times, and 5 run perfectly with @Mariano_Colmenarejo 's driver. The last one apparently has a different “cluster” which can use I believe a driver by @w35l3y but that more involved and I’ve left it for the moment. It looks exactly the same as the others.

Did you try that generic driver you mentioned ?

I tried without success before but as you got back to me today I’ve attempted pairing again.
It pairs as a Generic Device to the Default clusters driver, and there isn’t any alternative if I try the alternative driver option. I select Contact Sensor but it doesn’t update…

Thanks for your interest.

HI @Johnnybegoode

This device use standard clusters, it must works with my driver.

I will add to it

Fantastic!
Thanks to @Mariano_Colmenarejo and @w35l3y for following up what was only a reply to a post, and then solving it in record time. I’ll be waiting for it to update before trying to re-pair tonight when I get in.

I have the same sensor but I can’t get it to connect. It has some different characters after the TZ3000 when I look.

I can’t find the screen where everyone else has taken a screenshot but I have this one

Am I doing something wrong or does it also need adding to the driver?

Hi @Standingformation

Your device exist in my driver Zigbee Contact Mc

You need to install the driver in your Hub from my Channel, in this link

Uninstall the device from App
Add new device from app with search nearby option
Device will appears in the room where the Hub is

Thanks for the quick reply!

I had already installed your driver from your channel but it still paired as Thing.

I just deleted it and tried again and worked perfectly.

Thanks for all your hard work!
