I just moved to hub v2 and I followed the instructions of removing them from hub v1, but I am having the hardest time pairing my two sensors to hub v2. I’ve read the pdf from monoprice and tried excluding and holding the tampering button, but light stays solid red. I can’t figured out how to get it to start blinking to pair, but solid red means it is already paired to a network if I understand correctly. Any ideas I could try?
Even though it could be paired with the old hub the exclusion will remove the device? Will it prompt me on the V2 hub that the device has been removed like it did when I was removing them from the v1 hub?
Also I remember adding the monoprice motion sensor’s with the aeon open/close sensors? Is that the correct method.
Thank you for the response Chris. I will be trying tonight when I get home.

I had a new Aeon Smart Energy Switch, and it indicated it wasn’t paired…but there was nothing I could do to get it paired with the hub. Then a user on this forum suggested I try to unpair it first (I know…didn’t make sense…but it did work ).
Yes, I believe I did see a message indicating that un-pairing had worked (but I was working with a number of devices yesterday, so I could be remembering it wrong). I have no clue if the message is like what you get with the v1 hub as I’m a newbie and have only had a v2 hub.

This did fix it, putting the v2 hub too exclusion and powering on the device excluded, then it paired. FYI it did post a message that the device was being removed. Thank you so much!!!
