Tado ru01 thermostat - not controlable in smartthings

Since it’s a Wi-Fi device, unless there is a Community/custom driver (which I haven’t seen for Tado) that supports it, and you install it in your hub, then re-join the device to it, there’s no other way.

The device still needs to be reinstalled so that it starts working with the other driver. Only Zigbee, Z-Wave, or Matter devices can be reconfigured (if the new driver explicitly implements this step), and this process can also fail sometimes; it depends on the instructions sent and the device itself.

That’s why I also mentioned the possibility of you developing your own integration, but you need to know if the device can be connected through a LAN protocol, and also have development skills.
