T- 48 hours and nothing but crickets from Smartthings

Looking at this night’s logs, all runIn() timers have started failing around 3am EDT - and still failing as of now.
Surely a good test for the resilience of my apps on which I have been focusing for the last weeks; so far so good…

SHM has been totally down for me for almost 2 weeks. I just get spinning when I try to arm it and no actual arming. A couple of my switches are randomly flipping on/off several times a day as week. This has been an extremely bad couple of weeks for ST.

What is disturbing about this is that ST employees have gone silent. No one has dropped a note with a status. It’s as if they have thrown in the towel and gone home.

wow i am just relieved my system is not broken. I am on V2 and the past week I have had soo many weird failures I was seriously starting to think this investment was a bad idea. Seeing that it is a ST wide problem I trust they will get it worked out and I just wish I would have gotten a notification or something in the APP instead of having to switch batteries, remove/add devices, and jump through hoops for no reason…

So, would this be why my Lightify bulbs / gardenspots are turning on randomly or not responding? Just started last night. I thought it may be time for a firmware upgrade, but perhaps this is the issue.

I guess I’m not alone here then. Mine has been the same, the dashboard won’t load, can’t arm/disarm, routines say they run but don’t complete. My siren kept going off, so I completely removed that for now.

Thankfully my water sensor still worked, as I had water in my sump pump area yesterday from flooding.

This thing is otherwise useless at this point.

The http://status.smartthings.com page allows you to sign up to get notified when there are problems, but has anyone actually received a notification?

If they’re not going to send notifications, they should really remove that feature. They should also remove the Past Incidents list since they’re apparently not maintaining it. They’ve had a message about a problem with SHM up since the 15th, but they left the 15th off the list, and they’re showing “No Incidents Reported” for the 16th and 17th.

SHM hasn’t worked right for me since late February. I’m only using this until I find another security hub with the same arm/disarm setup that will use the many the z-wave devices I bought for smart things since 2014 :(.

Shm doesn’t work. Can’t bring it io on.dashboard.

Yes (for all the good it does).

Oh, ST employee interactions with the forum dropped about 90% the day v2 was released… Things break, they go silent… Nothing new.

That website is nothing more than a marketing tool.

I got a couple a while back. Nothing consistent with the status page

Not sure that UK is fully ‘operational’ as advertised on the status page. Started getting ‘Security Alert With Lights’ each morning when the ‘Good Morning’ routine disarms the SHM so my house lights up like a Christmas Tree. Also a few blank messages in the feed though this seems to be resolved now. No problems with scheduling though.

I’m subscribed to the status updates. I got a text on 3/15 at 12:13PM. I expected that the resolution wasn’t far behind since they don’t seem to announce/admit there is an issue until they have the solution ready to implement right away. Was wrong about that this time…

I’m amazed too. But let’s see what the historical status is recorded as when this is finally over. If the recent past is any indication, they’ll still find a way of “spinning it” in their favor.

Because I merged the two threads, I will reiterate my statement so it’s easily found:

We are working on it. We know the root cause and are working towards a fix.

Hey, there’s a good update! Thanks Tim!

So, just out of curiosity from a techie point of view… What caused it?
