Suddenly can't add devices to SmartThings app

Help needed, please. The Samsung SmartThings app suddenly stopped working properly and I cannot add new devices because it says that a hub is required even though I successfully have 16 other devices in the app and working perfectly fine with the Aeotech hub. It is very odd because you can add some devices through the app but some others you can’t and it says “hub required”. Does anyone no what is happening? I had a long chat discussion with Samsung SmartThings Technical Support and the only thing they had me do was reboot the hub and uninstall and reinstall SmartThings but the problem still persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Can you provide more details: which devices (brand/model) are you attempting to add?

The image you are showing, I believe, is from the devices supported page and not an error message you are receiving when adding the device. The hub required is listed for devices that are directly connected and require an ST hub (such as zigbee or z-wave for example). The items where “hub is required” does not show are for cloud to cloud and wifi connections to the ST platform and do not require a hub.

Are you clicking on Add device and partner devices? I am confused why you are posting the supported devices screens.

Also… iOS or Android and version of the app? Any error messages when trying to add?

I am wondering if you are choosing Add Device and tapping on the 3 dots and selecting View Supported Devices. That section is only informational and not the proper place to add devices??

If your Hub is having Memory issues it won’t be available to add devices to it. Rebooting often fixes that issue.
