I am still going to try to install my Wemo switches this weekend. I have one more day left. But I have come across something interesting on my Smartthings app. When I leave the house and believe that I have turned out all the lights, I will sometimes look at the app on my phone, to see what it says, and it occasionally shows that a light or two were left on. So, I will go to my Routine and hits all lights off. The app will show that all the lights were turned off. When I go to My Home then to Things, it still shows my lights are on. So, I turn them off, but they just continue to show that they are on. I have tried to get home after performing this thing I do, but cannot get home before I forget, so I canât confirm that they were on or off when I get home. But, I suppose it really doesnât matter whether the lights were on or off, because it is either the lights, hub, or the app that is not functioning properly. Now I have to figure this out. Any clues?
What happens when you refresh individual lights or switches? Does it change at all? Try optimizing network or removing and reconnecting if you have to, I had to do that with 6 hue bulbs. Try using the app with just one light or switch, set it while home and watch to see what happens, you might need to tweak the code a little or set a routine and go to app triggering routine. That way you can isolate if itâs the app or lights.
Yea, I donât know the answer. That is above my pay grade. I wouldnât even know where to find it. Sorry.
