Some Samsung sensors working normal in Samsung Smartthings Classic Apps, but showing disconnected in new Smartthings Apps

Some Samsung sensors working normal in Samsung Smartthings Classic Apps, but showing disconnected in new Smartthings Apps. It is so strange. Classic Apps have all the recent activities, but the newer Smartthings Apps has disconnected status for a week now. I guess this is not a Hub issue.

Reset the sensors that show disconnected. Worked for me…

No it isn’t. It’s one of the differences people are experiencing between the two apps. The new app has a few kinks to work out, so what you’re experiencing may be the norm for a little while as the app improves.

To resolve the issue, surely I can re-pair all the sensors. But this does not make any sense, why classic apps can capture all activities while newer version failed?

Right! Both apps point back to your same hub and devices, so you’d expect the 2 apps to be in sync. ST is working on that.

Sure I could wait for ST or I could just reset them and have them work now…

…but, you’ll end up doing that again. Been there, done that. It’s a sync issue. I’ve been dealing with this for a while with a few folks from ST. It’s getting better, but not quite yet.

The funny part is, it is Samsung brand sensor which is showing disconnected on apps while hub recevied all latest activities.

I’m. Seeing exactly the same thing.
Samsung leak detectors and a ecolink firefighter device all show disconnected in new st app and work fine in classic. Will we ever be able to move past classic?
