While i thought my issue waa specific to Resideo/Honeywell, i am now having the same issue with linking my Ring doorbell. Just so happened i had to reconnect Ring as well, and noticed this.
In both cases, i add the device(s) which invokes linking the relevant serivce, like i have done many times in the past. However, after linking and returning to the app, the devices do not appear. I get an error, followed by a successful message, but going to the linked service displays an empty screen (no devices).
This linked services work fine in Google Home.
My Rachio and Sharp Tools linked services are fine, but i wonder if they would break too if i removed and tried to link them again.
A couple days ago I got a notification that my Honeywell thermostat in ST was offline. It came back on line the next morning with no action on my part.
And tonight I got a notification that my SwitchBot devices were offline in ST. When I just checked they were back online. Again I didn’t do anything.
Just noticed all my Switchbot devices were offline tonight, just had to go into linked services and sign in again, then they all came back. They worked fine in the Switchbot app directly.
Yep still having issues. In the rare event i link the service and the thermos get added, they dont work. They, will get the current state along with capabilities, but never refresh nor do the commands go anywhere. Most of the times you link the service, but no thermos populate.
Super odd. Works fine on the linked service in Google Home, just not ST.
I did get a response from ST support for the ticket i created, but they have zero means of effective correspondence. You get an email rrsponse asking for additional info, but no way to provide it. Email account cant be reaponded to and no system to interact on your ticket.
And just like that, starts working today. Good grief. Dont know who the culprit is with Honeywell ↔ Smartthings when this happens. Both, sides have horrid tech support and community involvement.
