Smartthings privacy policy agteed on my behalf?

I use the app with a smarttag. And suddenly got a notice after a few months saying I need to agree to the new privacy policy. I had a smarttag v1 active. In my brothers car. Because he asked me to. I read the new policy and was shocked by what information Samsung collects. So I didnt agree. But couldnt use the tag either. Now suddenly I can use the tag and the policy agreement is gone. Did Samsung agree while I didnt?
