Smartthings Powerbot-E Integration fails. Connection [errorcode_7610] - VR5000 Robot Vaccum

Hi everyone.

In the past, I successfully completed this integration. However, since the robot went offline in the In the past, I successfully completed this integration. However, since the robot went offline in the Powerbot-E app and I couldn’t reconnect it in any way, I ended up eliminating possibilities, and one of them was the Powerbot-E integration with Smartthings. After managing to connect the robot to the Powerbot-E app and the Wi-Fi network, I tried to redo the integration with Smartthings, but when trying to perform the integration, after entering the username and password and clicking login, I receive the message [errorcode_7610] and the integration fails. To me, it seems like a communication failure between the Midea API (Powerbot-E) and Smartthings. Has anyone encountered and overcome this error?

Two suggestions:

  • Set another browser as the default on your device (doubtful it will succeed)
  • reach out to both ST and Powerbot support. Since it is an error logging in - it is most likely an issue on Powerbot’s end since they maintain the integration to ST.

Hi jkp, thanks for the tip. I copied the link for the Smartthings and Powerbot-E integration into Google Chrome, entered the username and password, and the integration was successful.
